نامه به حدي زيباست که هرچي بخونيد از خوندن اون سير نمي شويد و پي به شخصيت والاي چارلي چاپلين ميبريد …………….
چارلي چاپلين يکي از نوابغ مسلم سينماست . او در زماني که در اوج موفقيت بود با “اونا اونيل” ازدواج کرد و از او صاحب 7 يا 8 بچه شد ولي فقط يکي از اين بچه ها که ژرالدين نام دارد استعداد بازيگري را از پدرش به ارث برده و چند سالي است که در دنياي سينما مشغول فعاليت است و اتفاقا او هم مثل پدرش به شهرت و افتخار زيادي رسيده و در محافل هنري روي او حساب مي کنند .
چندين سال پيش وقتي ژرالدين تازه مي خواست وارد عالم هنر شود ، چارلي براي او نامه اي نوشت که در شمار زيبا ترين و شور انگيزترين نامه هاي دنيا قرار دارد و بدون شک هر خواننده يا شنونده اي را به تفکر وادار مي کند.
ژرالدين دخترم:
اينجا شب است، يک شب نوئل. در قلعه کوچک من همه سپاهيان بي سلاح خفته اند.
نه برادر و نه خواهر تو و حتي مادرت ، بزحمت توانستم بي اينکه اين پرندگان خفته را بيدار کنم ، خودم را به اين اتاق کوچک نيمه روشن، به اين اتاق انتظار پيش از مرگ برسانم . من از توخيلي دورم، خيلي دور…… اما چشمانم کور باد ،اگر يک لحظه تصوير تو را از چشمان من دور کنند.
تصوير تو آنجا روي ميز هست . تصوير تو اينجا روي قلب من نيز هست. اما تو کجايي؟ آنجا در پاريس افسونگر بر روي آن صحنه پر شکوه “شانزليزه” ميرقصي . اين را ميدانم و چنانست که گويي در اين سکوت شبانگاهي ، آهنگ قدمهايت را مي شنوم و در اين ظلمات زمستاني، برق ستارگان چشمانت را مي بينم.
شنيده ام نقش تو در نمايش پر نور و پر شکوه نقش آن شاهدخت ايراني است که اسير خان تاتار شده است. شاهزاده خانم باش و برقص. ستاره باش و بدرخش .اما اگر قهقهه تحسين آميز تماشاگران و عطر مستي گلهايي که برايت فرستاده اند تو را فرصت هشياري داد، در گوشه اي بنشين ، نامه ام را بخوان و به صداي پدرت گوش فرا دار . من پدر تو هستم، ژرالدين من چارلي چاپلين هستم . وقتي بچه بودي، شبهاي دراز به بالينت نشستم و برايت قصه ها گفتم . قصه زيباي خفته در جنگل ،قصه اژدهاي بيدار در صحرا، خواب که به چشمان پيرم مي آمد، طعنه اش مي زدم و مي گفتمش برو .
من در روياي دختر خفته ام . رويا مي ديدم ژرالدين، رويا…….
روياي فرداي تو ، روياي امروز تو، دختري مي ديدم به روي صحنه، فرشته اي مي ديدم به روي آسمان، که مي رقصيد و مي شنيدم تماشاگران را که مي گفتند: ” دختره را مي بيني؟ اين دختر همان دلقک پيره .
اسمش يادته؟ چارلي ” . آره من چارلي هستم . من دلقک پيري بيش نيستم. امروز نوبت تو است. برقص. من با آن شلوار گشاد پاره پاره رقصيدم ، و تو در جامه حرير شاهزادگان مي رقصي . اين رقص ها ، و بيشتر از آن ، صداي کف زدنهاي تماشاگران ، گاه تو را به آسمان ها خواهد برد. برو . آنجا برو اما گاهي نيز بروي زمين بيا ، و زندگي مردمان را تماشا کن.
زندگي آن رقاصگان دوره گرد کوچه هاي تاريک را ، که با شکم گرسنه ميرقصند و با پاهايي که از بينوايي مي لرزد . من يکي ازاينان بودم ژرالدين ، و در آن شبها ، در آن شبهاي افسانه اي کودکي هاي تو ، که تو با لالايي قصه هاي من ، به خواب ميرفتي، و من باز بيدار مي ماندم در چهره تو مي نگريستم، ضربان قلبت را مي شمردم، و از خود مي پرسيدم: چارلي آيا اين بچه گربه، هرگز تو را خواهد شناخت؟
…………. تو مرا نمي شناسي ژرالدين . در آن شبهاي دور، بس قصه ها با تو گفتم ، اما قصه خود را هرگز نگفتم . اين داستاني شنيدني است:
داستان آن دلقک گرسنه اي که در پست ترين محلات لندن آواز مي خواند و مي رقصيد و صدقه جمع مي کرد .اين داستان من است . من طعم گرسنگي را چشيده ام . من درد بي خانماني را چشيده ام . و از اينها بيشتر ، من رنج آن دلقک دوره گرد را که اقيانوسي از غرور در دلش موج مي زند ، اما سکه صدقه رهگذر خودخواهي آن را مي خشکاند ، احساس کرده ام.
با اينهمه من زنده ام و از زندگان پيش از آنکه بميرند نبايد حرفي زد . داستان من به کار تو نمي آيد ، از تو حرف بزنيم . به دنبال تو نام من است:چاپلين . با همين نام چهل سال بيشتر مردم روي زمين را خنداندم و بيشتر از آنچه آنان خنديدند ، خود گريستم .
ژرالدين در دنيايي که تو زندگي مي کني ، تنها رقص و موسيقي نيست .
نيمه شب هنگامي که از سالن پر شکوه تأتر بيرون ميايي ، آن تحسين کنندگان ثروتمند را يکسره فراموش کن ، اما حال آن راننده تاکسي را که تورا به منزل مي رساند ، بپرس ، حال زنش را هم بپرس…. و اگر آبستن بود و پولي براي خريدن لباس بچه اش نداشت ، چک بکش و پنهاني توي جيب شوهرش بگذار . به نماينده خودم در بانک پاريس دستور داده ام ، فقط اين نوع خرجهاي تو را، بي چون و چرا قبول کند . اما براي خرجهاي ديگرت بايد صورتحساب بفرستي .

و وقتي به آنجا رسيدي که يک لحظه ، خود را برتر از تماشاگران رقص خويش بداني ، همان لحظه صحنه را ترک کن ، و با اولين تاکسي خود را به حومه پاريس برسان . من آنجا را خوب مي شناسم ، از قرنها پيش آنجا ، گهواره بهاري کوليان بوده است . در آنجا ، رقاصه هايي مثل خودت را خواهي ديد . زيبا تر از تو ، چالاک تر از تو و مغرورتر از تو . آنجا از نور کور کننده ي نورافکن هاي تآتر ” شانزليزه ” خبري نيست .
نور افکن رقاصگان کولي ، تنها نور ماه است نگاه کن ، خوب نگاه کن . آيا بهتر از تو نمي رقصند؟
اعتراف کن دخترم . هميشه کسي هست که بهتر از تو مي رقصد .
هميشه کسي هست که بهتر از تو مي زند .و اين را بدان که درخانواده چارلي ، هرگز کسي آنقدر گستاخ نبوده است که به يک کالسکه ران يا يک گداي کنار رود سن ، ناسزايي بدهد .

اگر از پول و سکه با تو حرف مي زنم ، براي آن است که ازنيروي فريب و افسون اين بچه هاي شيطان خوب آگاهم، من زماني درازمدتي در سيرک زيسته ام، و هميشه و هر لحظه، بخاطر بند بازاني که از روي ريسماني بس نازک راه مي روند، نگران بوده ام، اما اين حقيقت را با تو مي گويم دخترم : مردمان بر روي زمين استوار، بيشتر از بند بازان بر روي ريسمان نا استوار ، سقوط مي کنند . شايد که شبي درخشش گرانبهاترين الماس اين جهان تو را فريب دهد .آن شب، اين الماس ، ريسمان نا استوار تو خواهد بود ، و سقوط تو حتمي است .
شايد روزي ، چهره زيباي شاهزاده اي تو را گول زند، آن روز تو بند بازي ناشي خواهي بود و بند بازان ناشي ، هميشه سقوط مي کنند .
دل به زر و زيور نبند، زيرا بزرگترين الماس اين جهان آفتاب است و خوشبختانه ، اين الماس بر گردن همه مي درخشد …….
…….اما اگر روزي دل به آفتاب چهره مردي بستي ، با او يکدل باش ، به مادرت گفته ام در اين باره برايت نامه اي بنويسد . او عشق را بهتر از من مي شناسد. و او براي تعريف يکدلي ، شايسته تر از من است . کار تو بس دشوار است ، اين را مي دانم .
به روي صحنه ، جز تکه اي حرير نازک ، چيزي بدن ترا نمي پوشاند . به خاطر هنر مي توان لخت و عريان به روي صحنه رفت و پوشيده تر و باکره تر بازگشت . اما هيچ چيز و هيچکس ديگر در اين جهان نيست که شايسته آن باشد که دختري ناخن پايش را به خاطر او عريان کند .
برهنگي ، بيماري عصر ماست ، و من پيرمردم و شايد که حرفهاي خنده دار مي زنم .
اما به گمان من ، تن عريان تو بايد مال کسي باشد که روح عريانش را دوست مي داري.
بد نيست اگر انديشه تو در اين باره مال ده سال پيش باشد . مال دوران پوشيدگي . نترس ، اين ده سال ترا پير تر نخواهد کرد…..
